News from Tizian

Just some days ago in the evening, when Tizian and I sat together in the kitchen of his parents having dinner, Tizian, who meanwhile was a schoolkid of the first grade, asked me suddenly a very special question: “Please tell me, Auntie Jana, the Almighty GOD, is he actually – too - a Superhero?”

I had to swallow and first I shrugged. Then I said: „No, Tizian. GOD is the Almighty King. He is the Creator of everything. GOD is immortel. He can never die. GOD is the One, who has created every living thing here on earth and who is doing that up to now and he is the Only One who is taking all life again when the right time has come. God is unique. Just very special. Nobody and no one can be or will ever be like him.

„And JESUS?“ Tizian could not stop asking me more.

„No”, I answered him patiently, although it had already been very clear to me, that this question would come. “JESUS is just the Son of GOD. He is the only begotten Son, who showed the whole mankind just through his birth here on earth, that GOD is really existing and that all the stories of the prophets about the heavens and their holyness must be true. JESUS is the deputy of the Almighty God here on earth. He is the only one, who received the authority over all spirits – over the good ones and over the evil ones. But he is the Son.

JESUS was also the One, who showed all the people of his time some very important things. Namely, that Love and also Charity among the people are things which pay and that it pays too to be just.

Tizian, you must know, that in those times, when JESUS was still alive, it was commun that the people could not lead a good life.

Many of them were very poor and it was very seldom that everybody had enough to eat. The people in those times had to live in uncomfortable and shabby huts and they had no possessions. And so they tried to cheat one another - just to improve their living conditions or even to get able to survive a little bit longer …

„And nowadays?“ Tizian asked me with his little voice. “Nowadays, all the people really have everything, don’t they? Do they still cheat one another ..?”

For a little while I looked at him very thoughtfully.Then I said: “Yes, nowadys there are a lot of supermarkets, everybody in Germany has visited a school and has learned how to write and read, nobody has to suffer material hardship, there are many charities - but the people still cheat one another …”

“And why they are doing that ..?” Tizian seemed to be a little bit bored.

“I think, they are doing that because they do not believe in GOD”, I responded him. They do not believe in GOD and they do not believe in JESUS CHRIST. Although JESUS had done a lot of miracles in those times and anyway I think that one could say that JESUS was or is something like a Superhero …”

“Oh, what did you say? JESUS?” Tizian stared at me in big surprise with wide-opened eyes. “But Jesus cannot be a Superhero, Auntie Jana. JESUS – is just holy …”
